The daughter of a talented crafty and Textile obsessed Mother, and a Deep-Sea Diver Father, both well-traveled and avid collectors of anything interesting and unusual.

Marian grew up between the wilds of Sardinia, the old town of Genoa, the volcanic island of Stromboli, the Italian Riviera, and sailing the world with her family on a 1926 Danish schooner.

A combination that led to a great eye for special pieces, and a strong appreciation for how natural materials and design can work hand in hand.

A trained architect, with over a decade of experience as an interior designer, Marian has worked for a number of prestigious design studios on high-end projects, both in the UK and overseas.

Marian's true passion and expertise in hand-crafted textiles lead her to establish Studio Marian in 2015.
